COMMITTED TO THE COMMISSION Jesus’ final words on earth before ascending to the right hand of the Father
commanded His disciples to share their faith in the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). Here at Maple City, we believe that fulfilling the Great Commission is the primary duty of true disciples of Christ. As a church, we endeavor to reach Chatham-Kent with the gospel of Jesus Christ and support missionaries all over the world who have the same mind and mission. We believe that all true believers have a responsibility to share their faith with others. The primary outreach of our church happens daily as we live out our faith in our workplaces, schools and at home. Church members are encouraged to be actively involved in serving the community. Believers are taught to look for opportunities and to listen to the Spirit of God as He leads them to share the gospel.

Group evangelism efforts are organized on Saturday mornings (weather permitting) at which we gather together to pass out gospel literature in the community. Meet at the church at 10am.

As a church committed to the Great Commission, Maple City has a duty to reach people around the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are actively involved in home and foreign mission projects, and currently support over 25 missionaries worldwide. Members are encouraged to pray often for our missionaries, as well as send them letters of encouragement.
